The tabs are fine, but the button is very sensitive to pressure. I'm in no way a weight lifter, sort of a hand noodle actually, and I read the instructions on hand tightening and then used a tire tool, not an impact wrench. Okay, okay, I used a nut tool in the trunk and on the fourth wheel, I ripped off the wrench; manual strength only. It's not always possible to take a torque wrench on the road when you have a flat tire, but make sure you don't over-torque I guess. I ordered a new key from McGard, the original manufacturer of this kit. There is a warranty process, but shipping a damaged key is almost the same as buying a new key outright. Meh, just buy a new one and watch the torque from now on. There are also a lot of videos on the web on how to remove this lock without a key. To be honest, defeating the lock kit is not difficult.
