Review on 🐠 Optimized Marineland Aquarium LED Strip Light with White and Blue LEDs by Eden Smith

These are good lights and I like their low profile - no bulky halogen boxes sticking out in the air. I feel better knowing they are waterproof (no evaporative electrical failures). The blue light highlights the neon fish and the black lit plastic plants. I like the different mounting options, but I didn't want to put bulbs on the bottom of the tank that glow upwards - too unnatural. The switches for them are in a weird place 2/3 of the power cord and you have to choose either blue or white, you can't make it blue for a while and then switch to white when they turn on the timer. It would be nice to have one connected to the other so they could bond together but I think that would make them less waterproof. I attached mine to the flange of the lid and pointed it down into the tank. It was pretty easy to hide the cables with the included clips. They are better suited to a tabletop tank than a large floorstanding unit. However, I'll probably buy a few more for my other tanks!
