Review on ๐Ÿฆ” Spornette Classic German Porcupine 25 Inch by Simone Black

The porcupine wins! for hair care

While buying myself some new combs, I decided to check out my husband's comb. As I opened his drawer, the word EXCELLENT came to mind. He always used a boar bristle brush, so I knew better than to replace it with something unnatural. At the same time, I didn't want to spend a small fortune if it wasn't necessary. When I came across this Spornette brush, it seemed like the perfect solution. Very reasonably priced, MOST natural bristles with a few slightly longer vinyl bristles (creating a "porcupine" effect), an all wood handle, and basically the same shape as his old brush. When I handed it to him, he had the dubious look of a porcupine. He said it looked painful, and since it was clearly marked as made in Germany, he joked that it was probably designed by Hitler. I convinced him to give it a try by showing him how gross his current brush looks. It went from "weird" to "pretty cool" with just a few swipes <--- Those are his words. Now he says combing his hair feels like a light massage. And at this price he won't feel like he needs to use it for at least 10 years before considering a replacement.
