Light cape of good quality. Good quality fabric. As the description says, it's a lightweight fabric, but I feel the thread count is higher than most t-shirts. The hem is generous, about an inch wide. The red line of fabric is part of the hem at the bottom of the cloak but is not present on the hood. The neckline is visible in the photos of the models, so it's like putting on a t-shirt. your head. The laces on mine aren't as long as in the pictures, unless you tug on them to narrow the hood's opening around the face. The opening of the hood is round, as can be seen in the photo of the unworn capes. When the hood is pulled up, it's stiff enough to give my eyes some shade without blocking my forward vision. The pockets are 7" deep and the openings are at least an inch deeper than my jean pockets. Hands in pockets. The cloak falls to about mid-thigh.
