Works as advertised. Allows one-handed opening, although the Buck 110 will never be a pinball machine.
I bought this for my Buck 110. After several attempts to position it correctly along the blade shaft, I found a sweet spot for me. Note: The buck is designed to be opened with two hands. Quite a strong click, and it takes a little force to open. It is not surprising that the knife will never be "pinball". BUT, it will definitely allow me to open the knife with one hand when I get into a situation where it's needed. The hairpin does not interfere with insertion and removal from the sheath.
