Turns out I bought this case 5 years ago for my 2015 MacBook Pro. This time I also got a key cover which is amazing and quiet under my fingertips too! Let me tell you about the first one - it took 5 years and could have lasted longer but the corner chipped and I'm a little picky so I bought this new one. This new one is just great, just like the last one. That's what it's been up to - countless carry-on trips across 3 continents, cities on public transport, etc. I've put it in my briefcase or backpack, which often falls to the ground, and the laptop is fully protected. This laptop also survived a disaster when I kicked my office ceiling (from the attic) - 120 years of dust and plaster fell on it and the laptop was not damaged. After 5 years, the case was practically clean and without scratches. You won't notice the difference until you immediately compare it to this one - the 5-year-old is just a little more boring. After all this time I had a tiny corner chip. None of the bumpers below him fell off like on other occasions. It feels and looks good and is about half the price I paid 5 years ago. Don't hesitate - you need this case! Clear is great, I'm sure other colors are just as good.
