We live in a brick house in a lower area than the surrounding areas so our cell phone signal is very easily lost in the neighborhood and definitely in the house. I installed an outdoor antenna at the highest point on my roof and rotated it for the best signal (3-4 bars). I then routed the coax cable to the ceiling and placed the indoor antenna. The whole thing took me about 30 minutes, so it wasn't that bad. I am now getting 2-3 bars inside which is a huge improvement over the 0 bars I got prior to the install. I am very happy with this product and would only recommend it if you can get a signal from somewhere outside your home. If there is no original signal reception, this device will not automatically generate a new signal. It is used exclusively for reinforcement from the outside to the inside.
