Perfect fit for what I needed

I am in my 70's, weigh about 120 pounds and fell forward with a hard fall on my right rib cage. I hurt my muscles and rib cage badly and maybe the worst case scenario was a small tear in my rib, but it hurt terribly. That night I could hardly sleep while lying on my back because of the pain, and the night was terrible. The next morning my wife got the sports bandage and the first time she put it on it significantly reduced the discomfort but as the day progressed it curled up and ended up with an elastic band around my chest. Common sense told me I needed something like this product and when I found it at Revain I immediately ordered it. As soon as it arrived I put it on and didn't look back. It's very easy to put on on its own and has provided enough support to ease the pain and more importantly let me sleep a lot better at night. I couldn't turn to any side so I just had to sleep on my back, but at least I slept. About the fit. First, I found out through trial and error that you don't need to wrap it as tightly as possible. It only takes a slight stretch to provide enough support to keep everything in your body in place. I have a 44" chest and use no more than 2" overlap for support and comfort. Too tight also constricts your breath, which you should also avoid. As long as your chest isn't overly large and likely measures at least 34 inches (assuming) you should be able to find an ideal spot. It's been two weeks and a few days since the incident and last night. The first night I was able to sleep comfortably without one, so I'd say it definitely deserved the $14 I paid for it. I highly recommend this product for its functionality and value.
