I bought this for sprained ribs and to help with terrible pain. The way it is made and the shape seems to "fit" my body. but with every movement, even walking around the house, it slides up to my navel. So I have to send it back. I've made several attempts.

Wearing this rib band has made a HUGE difference in maintaining stamina while doing housework and gardening! I have a chronically stressed area in the middle of my back on my right side and this brace provides enough compression to allow me to perform any task comfortably!

I brought this as a doctor's prescription for a broken rib. I like it so far, but I have 2 small problems unrelated to the belt: 1. I have a small waist, and the waist of pants and jeans is problematic. I mention this because there is a central seam on the spine. Not on mine! I need to customize for my frame2. The belt is designed for the female breast. Due to my small waist, I find it difficult to center myself with a belt. As I said, this has nothing to do with the belt.

In January I sustained severe bruised ribs after a fall and needed some support during treatment. I got this after buying another, more expensive braces that I hated. This belt is much lighter, much easier to use and stays almost where it's supposed to support. It is very light yet strong, the velcro stays attached but is easy enough to disassemble to "rearrange" yourself. Another belt I bought? Dude, you couldn't rip that velcro to save your life! The size given does not match what I received. I'm not sure if they just sent me the wrong product or if it just doesn't match the description. Indicates a size of up to 60 inches, but I only got the actual measurement of about 48 inches end-to-end; a few inches more when stretched. I used bandages before purchasing this wonderful little bandage. My doctor said it was my best friend and she was right. Yes it hurts because my muscle and rib is pulled in and I can move better, helps with pain and I don't have to hold my side to every movement anymore. Follow the instructions and you will be fine. I bought this for my mum to support her ribs as she was in pain and it hurt when she coughed. For health reasons, she lost a lot of weight. The belt did not fit her at all as it wrapped itself around her almost twice and then failed to hold up. We tried sewing the back to shorten it, which allowed her to wear it, but at that point it did little to no good for her and now she's just gathering dust. UPDATE: I have upgraded it to 1 star as I feel the 2 stars is unfair. This is really a great product. The rolling part is still an issue, but I'll move on: the injury couldn't be bandaged, so getting it on properly and tight enough might be an issue.
