When I wear the buckle for the first time I like how it looks and feels. When I tried to remove the strap later that day, the clasp would not open. The sliding mechanism for releasing the buckle was completely blocked, it did not move. Just in case I don't get it right (although I've been using this type of strap for years) I asked my wife to see if she could undo the slider. She could not. By the way, when I measured the belt size the day before, the sliding mechanism worked perfectly.
