Canvas Military Antique Silver Buckle Men's Belts and Accessories Review

I got this after two Columbia Canvas Web straps accidentally broke their buckles. Pros: It lasts even though I'm not at the same 1 year point of failure as Columbia. belt that I wore. Cons: Tighter and softer. While they do what they're supposed to do, they don't have the stiffness or width that I liked on the Columbia belt. Bottom line: They work, but I think I can just leave it as a backup belt and go back to Colombia. or another brand for a better belt and accept that they may not work.

The belt is conspicuously narrow and looks ridiculous on a grown man, especially in jeans. One of the side effects of a buckle that's too narrow is that it doesn't hold up well. Look for a canvas military style belt from Columbia. It's actually too wide, making it difficult to thread through belt loops, but it's a much better alternative to this belt.

When I wear the buckle for the first time I like how it looks and feels. When I tried to remove the strap later that day, the clasp would not open. The sliding mechanism for releasing the buckle was completely blocked, it did not move. Just in case I don't get it right (although I've been using this type of strap for years) I asked my wife to see if she could undo the slider. She could not. By the way, when I measured the belt size the day before, the sliding mechanism worked perfectly.
