Review on Enhanced Load Capacity of 22 lbs- SUNWAYFOTO DYH-68 Leveling Base Tripod Head by Kevin Fuentes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Small, light and good quality!

Okay here is my review of the product (top 1 on Amazon and elsewhere) What it is, very good quality - & +15 degrees, tilting leveling foot, small and light like 7oz, SUNWAYFOTO usually does therefore best quality from China at a low price. This is no exception. I've even put it in the freezer for 24 hours and it's a little harder to level, but most foods from China sometimes don't budge due to the oil/fat used, and Chicago life was important and it could be used, know I didn't what -10 degrees would have been enough but once I got it all the way loosened it worked fine and what I also like is that turning the retaining ring makes it more difficult to set the level exactly how I want it rather than just blocking or loosening the attitude. Good thing it's not an RRS product, but at $69 you can't even buy an RRS bag for that money. But it's worth it, and if you set your tripod almost level, -&+15 degrees is more than enough for panorama photography, so I got it and expect to keep it and use it when I take pano. Yes there are cheaper and similar leveling bases out there such as the very good Leofoto LB-65 for around the same price but why I choose SUNWAYFOTO is that there is variable tension when the retaining ring is rotated while the Leofoto LB- 65 in the review, Revain said it was. loose or locked and I wouldn't use a 200-600 zoom lens on a pano mount and just have a loose or locked because you only have 2 hands and with SUNWAYFOTO 1 hand on the mounting collar and 1 hand on the camera. Handle/trigger so you can adjust the tension to set the camera for framing and then lock it, I like that benefit and the balance isn't as important as it is with a free/locked Leofoto LB-65 and if this review was wrong, then either they will work just fine. Also, the height of this SUNWAYFOTO is 39mm while the similar 53/60mm is much taller and shorter is better for me. After using it more I will release more updates. Christopher
