My dog LOVES it! She gets nervous when she eats. I love the idea of a more natural approach to what I used to feed my pets (pedigree and friskies for kittens). It's a lot more expensive - double what we fed her. But she seems to be eating less of it than at Walmart. She ate the old brand and still seemed hungry. She would eat the whole bag if you let her, and then climb into the trash can if someone didn't close it all the way. Bow! It was uncomfortable! With this more natural brand, she seems to feel fuller faster and is definitely happier after eating. She no longer looks for anything else to put in her stomach. That alone is a miracle. She has been with us for 8 years and has always had some neuroses. She is a rescue dog - she was a factory breeder of puppies who was left outside in a cage too small for a German Shepherd. She lived a horrible life before we found her. One of their biggest quirks is the food. Like she could never get enough, like she never got enough when she was in that dog factory. For some reason - and I really don't know what the reason is - but this meal helped her in ways I never thought possible. Having had them since 2008, this is the first time she has been able to eat and then calm down and stop looking. After so many years with her, I'm almost convinced that they are connected somehow. Now she's happier during and after meals, so we're happy too! We also got treats from Blue Buffalo and Oh My Godness - she's crazy about them! Great brand - I'm sold. The money difference is worth it. Besides, if we, the people of the house, eat well, why shouldn't our pets?
