Happy and well for Dry

After trying several other premium dog food brands, I finally found a food that worked with our dog's sensitive digestive system. My GSD has always had a healthy appetite for this food and hasn't had the indigestion, vomiting or bloating that he suffered from taking another brand. We have been using Blue Buffalo Wilderness happily for the past 2 years, starting with the puppy formula and ending with the adult formula. Smaller kibble that fits most dog sizes and always tastes fresh and good…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Can't remember

Blue Buffalo killed my dog, I'm not kidding.

Feed my dog this for two years in a row - every new bag made him nauseous, diarrhoea, vomit, gas and breath that smelled like fish food. This is by no means cheap food - I bought it because a lot of people said it was the best. Gave them lots of money - all for hurting my dog. I switched to the Hills Science Diet after reading about other people having similar issues (and I mean thousands of people with the same issue). Immediately his life improved. All of that has improved since - two months…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • boring packaging

Quality product and our dog loves it

We have always used Blue Buffalo products for our pets. We got an Australian Shepherd last year and when she was a year old we started feeding her Wilderness food. This time we switched from "red meat" to "buffalo" (so she doesn't always eat the same thing). She seems to really like this new taste. She swallows it within minutes of putting it in her drawer. Sometimes we put their food in a box and then let them walk around a bit before calling them to eat. With this food, she actually ran to…

Color difference = nutritional difference?

Is there a difference in color due to a difference in diet? I have purchased this product multiple (15) times. With the exception of one case, the "Spring of Life Bits" were dark brown in color. This event happened in early December 2020 and I noticed an oddity within 24 hours of opening the package and subsequently contacted customer service. This special event is very important. relatively because the food does not contain any artificial colors or dyes. Such a dramatic color change may…

Disappointed good grocery product

I had high hopes for this brand. I fed two of my huskies gentle giants and one evil wacky water guzzler. I had a feeling it might have something to do with food so I switched places. I was slowly transitioning one of my huskies from gentle giants to blue buffalo chow. He seemed to like it for the first three weeks, and then he randomly started sniffing it, chewing it and walking away. Some days he ate part of it, some days he didn't eat it at all. Mind you, my husky is just over a year old and…

Great brand and quality dog food!

My dog has been eating this brand for about 4 years. She tasted the flavors of chicken, salmon and red meat. She usually likes the taste of chicken but I decided to switch it up and buy red meat. She loves this scent too. I fed her Organix organic dog food until she stopped eating it for unknown reasons. After researching other high quality brands, I found a great alternative to the Blue Buffalo Wilderness brand. Although not organic, the quality is far superior to most dog foods on the market.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Problem

Farewell to blue.

My dog has been eating Blue since day one, he has been with us for 7 years and he has always eaten his food well. I know some dogs who eat quickly, but she has always eaten slowly and has a habit of "saving something for later". I felt pretty good when she took Blue as she maintained a healthy weight and still seems very active and playful. The food is basically ok. With this last batch I ordered from Revain (I usually get them from Petco), she hasn't touched them in days. She left the food…

More natural food for my pets.

My dog LOVES it! She gets nervous when she eats. I love the idea of a more natural approach to what I used to feed my pets (pedigree and friskies for kittens). It's a lot more expensive - double what we fed her. But she seems to be eating less of it than at Walmart. She ate the old brand and still seemed hungry. She would eat the whole bag if you let her, and then climb into the trash can if someone didn't close it all the way. Bow! It was uncomfortable! With this more natural brand, she seems…

  • Delivery was very fast
