I have a 4 year old Samsung S8 that works fine except it only has wireless charging. It's a pain but I'm dealing with it because I want to see how long I can keep the phone on now that it's been taking so long. Unfortunately, this poses a problem on the go when I need to charge my phone on the go. I had a windshield magnet/phone holder that I liked, so I wanted something similar. I found this product and thought I'd give it a try. So far everything works great and I have nothing to complain about. If it continues to charge the phone efficiently, stays on the windshield, and is durable enough to support the phone over time, then this product is perfect. The only downside is that I like a clean dashboard and have no choice but to route the cable all the way to the bracket. It needs to be on all the time because the cord also powers the device holder. You can't just open the mount (or possibly without damaging it) without powering the device.
