My micro sd card

I inserted and plugged in the SD card. Transfer some music to the SD card and the adapter passed out about halfway. I took it out of the computer and it was very hot. I took out the SD card and tried it on other devices and it was dead. Also, SD cards are difficult to remove from the adapter. I sent it back and bought another adapter.
