I bought this pillow for the first time in 2017. This is a small miracle when you can rest your neck on a regular pillow. First I tried all the expensive pillows and thought it was a pillow. Problem. Even with excellent expensive pillows, my neck hurt. I chose neck pillows. Well after trying all neck pillows and contour pillows to combat neck arthritis I still couldn't find any relief. The oddly shaped contour pillows didn't bother my neck, they didn't seem to "fit" me properly. I also tried some elongated neck pillows, like rolls, that were too high. The little donut neck pillow fit a bit, I had less neck pain, but it was also too high. I tried this one and it was heaven and I use it with any regular pillow and it provides great support for my neck. I take it to hotels, campsites. You name it, it fixes all regular pillows. It has a narrow profile, narrower than hard donuts, so it fits perfectly in the neck hollow under the skull. It supports your neck and a regular pillow underneath supports your head. I immediately bought a second one for fear they would stop making/selling them so I had to make sure I had a backup. It's not a lot of space so I took the wire out of one of the pads. I like it that way too. I've already used up the first pillow, I'll be back for the third. So I've had enough for three years and toss and turn a lot. I have good regular pillows that I use in addition to this one because I just can't get any relief from any pillow no matter what pillow I try. But this little miracle has made every pillow perfect for me.
