I bought this for thumb arthritis. I have used kinesio tape but after a few months of use I developed an allergic reaction to the tape and it was expensive to keep buying it. I have tried many thumb braces but they have many straps and never fit properly. I went hunting and bought a small IMAK and liked it so much I bought a second medium size. Both fit well. I am an avid golfer and wear it under my glove (left hand) as well as when lifting weights and it fits under my weightlifting gloves. It really helped keep my thumb from getting irritated and the cushion is perfect for typing. This is a great product that works
