As others have said, this thing doesn't work very well. I'm not entirely sure what the point of this is. It might be fine for a small thumb brace, but the palm pad feels really weird and I don't see it as the most sensible (or even practical) item for carpal tunnel. Measure my hand as directed but it is still too big and I had to order down.

Sizing Info: My palm measures 3 and 1/4 inches above my knuckles, the sizing is perfect, snug but not too tight. I read the reviews and everyone said they were big so I was afraid to buy the small ones but they were too tight and I swapped them out for the medium ones. Pros: Nice soft material, flexible so you can move your thumb if you want. Cons: There's a large pad in the palm area that can hinder use of a computer mouse a bit, not to fully isolate the thumb but more as a support brace.

I have arthritis at the base of both thumbs. I wear them while knitting. I was looking for supportive thumb sprint gloves to replace a pair of craft gloves that needed replacing. They hold up very well and I wear them every evening after knitting for a few hours. I had these from a craft company and they made holes in the top of my thumb from Sprints. I recently bent my thumb where it shouldn't be. I work with computers, so I bug him with the mouse all day. I get instant relief in this glove. I bought this for thumb arthritis. I have used kinesio tape but after a few months of use I developed an allergic reaction to the tape and it was expensive to keep buying it. I found this product too uncomfortable, even painful to remove. I liked the concept but it doesn't work for me. My thumb joints hurt and when I took that off my hand the discomfort (pain) was too great to return. I need something that encloses the arm and can be removed without putting pressure on the joint. I use the Imak Smart Thumb glove all the time. It's a good thing that my right hand is where I have the most trouble as I really need that padding to protect the very sensitive part of the thumb joint that hurts to the touch. It says you can reverse the glove for the left hand, but if you do that you lose the inner pad which is what I need the most. Despite claims that this connector works in both left and right hands, it is not. To wear it on the left hand you either have a palm pad on top or you have to turn it inside out and it still doesn't fit like it should. DO NOT ORDER for left-handers.
