Product exactly as described. They recommend washing it before use. I haven't done it yet. It arrived folded and in a storage bag. I unpacked it and found it was quite wrinkled. In the corners of the prayer, threads intertwine through prayers. They made them so tight that the corners don't lay flat. Additionally, due to the tightness of the tying, the knots twisted, so they didn't lay flat either. The white fringes are made from the raw, "ripped" edge of the material. It looks like the whole cloth will tear when pressure is applied. That's why I don't wash it. I gave 4 stars because it's beautiful.
