These rice cookers did a good job of cooking rice. I don't think they are good for keeping rice warm for a long time, like a whole day, because of the small steam outlet. Other stoves are better equipped with a suction cap that requires more pressure to release the steam. I used them in a restaurant where they were used multiple times a day. I expect the oven to last at least a few years. I bought two of these and they broke at the same time after two months. Seriously, don't buy these ovens if your business depends on them.
