Review on π RT-TCZ Spare Tire Brake Light for Jeep Wrangler JK/JKU/JL/JLU - 2007-2021 Models: Rubicon, Sahara, X, Sport by Eddie Orrell
Bright but needs improvement.
Great idea for a third brake light; However, you must connect the wires to the factory wiring harness. Also, the connected cable is too short, so you need to add an extra cable. The last problem is that it didn't work with my Teraflex HD tire carrier. To get it working I had to add shims to avoid crushing the LEDs with the bus holder. It also didn't work with my rear camera mount. I had to add spacers (washers) to prevent the camera mount from crushing the LEDs. Generally a good idea.
