Great idea for a third brake light; However, you must connect the wires to the factory wiring harness. Also, the connected cable is too short, so you need to add an extra cable. The last problem is that it didn't work with my Teraflex HD tire carrier. To get it working I had to add shims to avoid crushing the LEDs with the bus holder. It also didn't work with my rear camera mount. I had to add spacers (washers) to prevent the camera mount from crushing the LEDs. Generally a good idea.

Simple packaging. Basically it's a round piece of metal with LED pucks connected together. I would give it 5 stars but the number of wires hanging to connect to the car is too short. I had to lengthen the wire with a spare wire I had. Once you've identified your wires going to the 3rd brake light, all you have to do is connect the new wires.
