Review on 🚗 RT-TCZ Spare Tire Brake Light for Jeep Wrangler JK/JKU/JL/JLU - 2007-2021 Models: Rubicon, Sahara, X, Sport by Doug Friedman

This spare tire stop light arrived well packaged - there were no installation instructions or additional hardware (required for installation) but I was expecting it based on previous reviews . . The plate that the LEDs are attached to is made of lightweight sheet metal and feels solid enough. The LEDs themselves appear to be of good quality and the wiring and mounting of the lights on the panel looks great. Once mounted on the spare tire carrier, the wires from the lights are too short to reach the OEM wiring. OEM Wiring Requires Splicing: Use T-Tap connectors or hardwire the positive and negative wires by adding an extra wire to get the length needed to connect to the brake light wiring. After installation, the lights look great! All in all a really great and affordable addition! Easy 5 stars although additional wiring and electrical connections are required to complete the installation.
