Works great! On a street tank, such a mechanical lever of the garbage truck rises and falls over, and the lid opens under the action of gravity. Places this on the inside of the lid next to the hinge to reduce the chance of scraping it when you dump it and it has worked for 4 pickups so far. And NO flies/larvae! No obvious odor, it just seems to have badly damaged a fly that used to be my bin (cat litter contents, bits of meat, etc.). For those who don't have glue, it's pretty small and kind of hidden in the package until I looked closely, otherwise I'd just use the command line or something.
