I use this fan between months when it doesn't make sense to turn on the air conditioning throughout the house. It is compact and made of plastic. The blades are about 4 inches in diameter from tip to tip and are also plastic, opaque like wax paper. The lithium-ion battery is huge. So far I've only tested higher speeds. Air. Very quiet at low speed. The blue light only comes on when you ask for it (while the fan is running, press and hold the button for 3 seconds). This is a cool effect, but the fan doesn't remember this setting.
