Review on Rockville RVF-2 1200w Peak/300w RMS Dyno-Certified 4-Channel Car Stereo Amplifier Amp by Greg Birchfield

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good amp might catch on at first

I've had this amp for three months, if ever. It worked great initially and as you can see in my video I set up the endoscope and initially still learned how to use it as I just got these devices and learned how to use all the features. So when I set it up when I first got it I didn't set it up properly, but the speakers I plugged into the Rockford Fosgate were very loud and sounded great. But the longer I had the amp the more I tried to adjust the gain but in the end the switch just went off. As you can see in the video now, when he touches the switch it scratches horribly and when I turn it it gets worse. And most of the time, even if I don't touch it, it still scratches a little and can't hold a hard wave. Now the amp turns on and off, sometimes fully functional, and most of the time it behaves like it's off, but the lights are on, there's just no sound, and then it randomly scratches. Maybe I'm just stupid. I contacted Rockville and received a response almost immediately. I will try another one even if I have to order it. Most other reviews were good.
