This product does not have a terrible chemical smell. I bought 2 packs and they came in a nice little zippered storage bag. Gate SUPER soft. The collar also fits my neck very well and covers my face slightly with no discomfort. It's big enough to cover my ears. WASH as any new garment should be washed before use.
