I've finally found something that works for my psoriasis. I have had psoriasis for many years. This is an autoimmune condition where the skin overproduces cells and I get scaly, itchy, dry patches or (when dead skin is removed) open sores, mostly on my feet, hands and scalp. Some of them never healed and simply gained weight over time. The largest of these has grown from the size of a cigarette ember to 2 inches in diameter. I'm pretty shy about that. I have used over the counter ointments and lotions with little success. I have avoided the treatments advertised on TV because they weaken your immune system and the side effects are terrible. So I found this and it really works! It's designed to increase the absorption of medication through your skin, which is why I use it in conjunction with the OTC and prescription medications I already have. It's a liquid, so I apply it with a cotton swab. It's a solvent, so gloves are a good idea. (This will numb your fingers.) When it dries I will apply corticosteroid creams/ointments. I apply it twice a day. The scales disappeared almost immediately. After that, the red spots slowly began to disappear. Some of my pimples went away after about a month. He also worked quickly on new development sites. I had a big spot on my leg for years and now it's almost gone! I'd love to take a before and after photo, but I didn't know it would work and I never wanted to photograph those spots. I've tried so many different things with no success. I think other people with psoriasis do too. So I just wanted to share that with you.
