Let me start with the positive things. This mirror is big. I like the magnifying side mirrors with folding sides. It is convenient to travel with as it can be easily removed from the base. I also like that you don't have to plug it in. But it's not bright enough. The setting isn't for brightness, it's for different filters. The brightest is still super dark. I have a brighter light only from plumbing. I'd love to return it but I've decided to keep it to myself to see if I get used to it but it's only going to get worse. Don't waste your money on it. I will buy another jerdon. I've had 2 (and they last over 5 years) and I don't know why I just didn't get a replacement when my last one blew.
