SCALE BLASTER 75: I think a person can't properly rate this item until they own it and have used it for quite a while. In my case I can simply say that where I live we have very hard water. We usually cycle through an electric water heater about every 7 years. In the last 7 years we have not had a single attempt that failed due to limescale. I bought a Scale 75 Blaster about 5 years ago when our current water heater was about 5 years old at the time. In May 2020 this water heater will be 10 years old. I'm still getting scalding hot water from the tank, which lets me know there isn't much, if any, calcium on the heating element. Hard water is imperceptible around faucets or shower doors, as it was before the Scale blaster 75 was installed. Incidentally, installation is child's play. In short, if it doesn't work out today, I'll definitely buy another one and fast! Great product if you want to blast the calcium!
