Review on Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED Zoom Lens with Vibration Reduction & Auto Focus for Nikon DSLR Cameras by Chun Hyun ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Full compliance with the manufacturers assurances, high quality.

Filming a theatrical scene with a flash. Everything is super. Focus is more than enough. Tried with flash and without. If the lighting is excellent and these are inactive objects, then without a flash at ISO 600-800 and a short shutter speed you can shoot, it comes out just amazing. And if they are dancing, then in order not to press the ISO, you need to connect a flash, though it gives a red tint with general plans, but everything can be removed in Photoshop. The portraits are simply excellent, it opens up a lot of scope for creativity. In sunny weather, you can do amazing things. In a word, after the staff member, it’s just a must have! And especially if the toad presses you to spend huge sums on a lens, and especially if you have a budget DX camera. (I have a D5000). I recommend to everyone. Bravo Nikon!

Pros
  • -Price, price and more PRICE! -Wide range of focal lengths -Stabilizer -Good autofocus. He is not as dumb and slow as they say. - Complete set (hood, handbag - very useful things) -Compared to the standard 18-55, sharpness by the same 55mm under the same conditions is many times better! -cute bokeh! - ED glass - a consequence Chromatic aberrations are minimal. -has the so-called HRI element - a consequence of low weight. (very pleased) - Looks kinda reliable.
Cons
  • It's a bit dark, hence the price. - by 55mm. at 4.5 it soaps, and at 300mm it also soaps. You need to play with the diaphragm. - There are not enough steps of the stub for 300 mm. At 1/200 you can blur the frame. - the hood is frankly , the snapping mechanism constantly sticks and you have to suffer to remove it. - did kitoytsy.
