Finally a hat my 13 month old won't take off. This hat is really high quality. I particularly like that the brim folds in along the seams the full length of the hat, so you can always find the right angle and get it out of your child's way on sides that don't offer sun protection. This feature gives my son better peripheral vision, which makes him forget he's wearing a hat - well, most of the time anyway! This also means he's more likely to avoid invisible obstacles on the playground. That justifies the higher price. I lost one and bought a few - nothing else in his closet even comes close!
