The design and bright colors of the shirt are perfect for my 4 year old granddaughter. The glitter stands out and my girl loves sparkles! The shirt is long enough (true tunic length) to cover the bottom of the shirt and is comfortable to wear with leggings. However, the material itself is quite thin. I could see her skin through the top so we had to wear a tank top underneath. It's not ideal for the colder months, but she didn't seem to mind wearing a tank top with him. Definitely a larger size if you want to buy. My granddaughter is 4 years old, she is in the 99th percentile for height and weight and this suits her very well. She normally wears a size 5 so she was actually 2 bigger than her normal size. The length was perfect, but the width was close to her.
