Review on πŸ“± VTech Baby Phone with Touch-Swipe Technology by Omar Card

Has short life and drains batteries quickly

It was a cute toy for the weeks it lasted. It broke pretty quickly, and before it broke, it ran out of batteries very quickly! The touchscreen function wasn't the easiest to use as opposed to the individual buttons. I ended up replacing it with a Fisher Price smartphone, which lasted much longer and performed better. I would not recommend this product. Pros: 1) The product is large in size, so a small child can easily hold it. 2) The slider below moves between the main "App" screen and the music screen. There are several songs that play in music mode and each button on the side of the app has a different sound. For example, there is an email button and a weather button. Disadvantages: 1) The product runs out of batteries very quickly. My daughter hasn't even played with the toy for a long time and it was still draining the batteries. 2) The phone broke too easily as it is a child's toy. It must withstand minor falls and bumps; However, after she dropped it several times, it eventually broke. 3) Buttons are just areas on the big screen that need to be touched, not individual buttons that need to be pressed. My daughter loves to push real buttons.

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • Ok for the most part, but...
