Works very well. We have a floor lamp with three bulbs. A knob at the top controls all the displays either individually or turns them all on at once - you have to turn the knob a lot. If you are seated, the person must also get up from a chair or sofa to turn a specific light on or off. With them, we turned them on until all the lights came on, then turned them off with the included remote. The remote control has a row of four on/off switches. Now, without getting up, we can turn on and off each of the three lights we want. The fourth set of buttons on the remote control turns all three displays on/off at the same time. The only downer for me is that due to the length of these wireless sensors, the bulbs now protrude slightly beyond their glass shade. I'm willing to put up with that so I don't have to get up every time I want to turn the light on or off.
