The version of this product now being sold by American Crew Fiber is close to fraudulent. I have bought this product 3 times since 2013 and it was excellent in its first formulation but not up to par. I still have a few left of all 3 to compare. The first iteration of this product had a pleasant smell and a soft toffee texture that quickly heated up and turned into a smooth layer on your hand when rubbed together. It was mostly white, with some obvious variations in sheen throughout the tone. The second was less white, had a little less sheen, and smelled similar but not quite the same. It still worked well, like hair tone, but it wasn't as comfortable. The latest iteration is yellow and boring. The pleasant smell is gone and replaced by a poorly developed fruity-chemical variant. It doesn't get hot and turns into a nice layer of toffee on your hand, but it stays sticky even with use. I strongly recommend not buying this product, both for its mediocre use and mainly for the use of deception tactics regarding this product on the Revain marketplace. I haven't found a good replacement yet, but I welcome suggestions from all readers.
