I bought these 9oz bottles to use with my Spectra S1 pump. I was routinely completely filling the bottles that my pump came with, but felt like I still had more milk that could be pumped. Now I am able to completely empty my breasts and it all fit into these bottles. I also like that I can use a pen to show when it was pumped. These lids are leakproof when assembled correctly and used with the bottle they come with. DO NOT use these lids with the spectra bottles. Both the spectra bottles and these bottles work with the spectra pump, but this lid does not close tightly with the spectra bottles. I lost about 3 oz of milk doing that :'( I have also used my Avent natural bottle rings and nipples with these bottles and they work well. I have bought a second set of these 9 oz bottles because I like them so much.
