I had such high expectations after reading great reviews! I have a new HP 15 inch laptop. This stand does NOT support its own weight when open. It immediately fell over and scratched my beautiful wooden table. , and the bottom of my laptop. The legs aren't high enough (see the photo where I hold it open). The legs need to be higher so it stays and doesn't slide out. Even if they were higher, it would still be too heavy open, and it will tip over anyway. ) Tried different angles of the stand several times and scratched my laptop and desk a little more. Luckily, my laptop has a touchscreen that folds into a "tablet." ". This is the only way it stays and the only reason I'm not giving it a 1 star. Other than that, I got it as a "standing table". As you can see in the picture, I have I'm looking down this will cause me to get a neck strain headache pretty quickly Personally stay away maybe it's better for macs as they are a bit lighter and thinner for my feet to cling to but otherwise am I very disappointed.Especially from scratches on my NEW expensive laptop.A punch in the pit of the stomach is a must.
