I bought 4 different leather backpacks from this company hoping to keep one or two of them but unfortunately I returned them all because none of them had all the features had that i was looking for. I almost kept this one in the end but finally gave up because I could feel all the stuff in my backpack and it was uncomfortable. If you only carry light things with you, everything is fine. I'm carrying a heavy water bottle and a large wallet, and my back is uncomfortable. It would be nice if a soft layer was added in these backpacks. I love that these backpacks have a security pocket on the back and it was wider and deeper than most. I was able to easily fit my phone and keys, and it didn't hurt my hand on the metal zipper to get to this pocket like other backpacks have. The straps were too long, but you could put the metal adjuster piece over the leather straps, which would give the straps just the right length for the backpack to sit higher on the back (healthier). But if you do it this way, the straps will double up, so it's a little annoying. This is not possible with larger backpacks because the shoulder straps are wider and do not go through metal. You can always have your straps shortened by a tailor if that is important to you. It would be nice if they could offer padded straps. Would like more side pockets. It has a lot of great features, but there is room for improvement.
