Review on Canon 28-80 F/3.5-5.6 πŸ“· V USM Lens Review and Features by Kenta Kato ᠌

A really necessary purchase, glad I found this product.

Used just a month, but I liked the model. One of those that I first switched from a whale to, I did not regret it. The quality of image rendering and color reproduction are extremely pleasing, which can be said about the fact that the lens is designed as a zoom (there is a noticeable difference on the crop). The only negative: chromate strongly, the same trees against the sky. Since I am fond of stock photos, this fact is extremely sad, but it is quickly removed in the CS6 program or native Digital from the manufacturer. In most cases, you don't even have to overlay image on image. Like all zooms, it has a "barrel" effect at close range, this is especially noticeable when shooting faces. Should be considered. For its price and quality, there is simply no better option for a universal lens.

Pros
  • nice picture Pretty light f10 and shooting landscapes even offhand during the day gives excellent quality Fast and tenacious autofocus Adequate price and workmanship is much better than the whale
Cons
  • Darkish Noisy, but less than the same whale Chromatite in contrast is ugliest "Barrel effect" when shooting people closer than 3-4 meters, at the long end up to 4-6 meters
