At the end of 2016 I learned about hair removal for the first time. I can be a bit lazy, and the thought of shaving every day has always struck me as odd. I'm too big a wimp to wax (besides, it's expensive). Ask for an epilator. It is used much like a razor and the effects last for weeks! Hair becomes noticeable after about a month. My 2.5 year old epilator started dying so I bought this one. I liked that it could be used on battery power and not just plugged in like the previous model. However, it's not that strong. Both times I had the AR-18 model. I don't know if it's just my car, but the revs aren't as high as my previous one. (I bought this because my previous one was slow, but I turned on both, the old one is STILL faster than the new one). The battery also usually dies before I can finish both legs, or spins so slowly it's basically useless. I'm a little frustrated because I LOVE hair removal. Yes, the first time it stings a lot, but after several times I don't even feel it. The hair grows much softer and slower. Also much easier than before. Even if several months pass between epilations, it is hardly noticeable. Although I'm a bit disappointed with my current device, I can highly recommend the epilator. I have contacted the seller for their feedback and update.
