I bought these to measure the contact pressure on a stereo player and for that purpose it worked great. The scale appears to be very accurate and is easy to zero or "tare". My only criticism, and it's a small one, is how the shed guard/cover attaches. This design is common to almost all similar inexpensive scales. It's just very awkward and I never get it lined up right on the first try. As I said, it's a minor inconvenience, but it annoys me every time I have to use it. I would give 4.5 stars if I could.
