Review on 🐠 PGFUNNY 25W Aquarium Heater, Smart Thermostat Fish Tank Heater for Betta, Slim Design Fits 3 to 5 Gallon Tanks, with Thermometer Strips by Jason Nelsen

Blu the betta fish is okay with this heater!

Product works as advertised. I treat this fish like my adopted child and share parenting responsibilities with my girlfriend. Ducky often got stuck in a cold bowl and appeared very lethargic in his behavior. After some research (aka Google) I found that the water temperature needs to be maintained at a consistently higher level for bettas to thrive. So I gave up that drab bowl for a small tank, water filter and heater. The difference between day and night. The Blu has many more sailing options. At first I wasn't sure if it was working or not, but every so often the red light would come on indicating it was heating the water. The only reason I removed the star was because I didn't see any of the thermometer strips that came with this unit (unless I just overlooked them and accidentally threw them away), so I really had no way of knowing which ones determine actual temperature. there was water until I bought a separate aquarium thermometer. I've been able to verify that it keeps the water temperature between 77 and 82 degrees as advertised, with my two gallon tank hovering around 79/80 degrees most of the time. I was concerned that the heater might be too powerful for the small tank, but I had no issues with overheating. I highly recommend this purchase! (especially if you combine this with an aquarium thermometer)
