It's a strap, it works

I use it to attach my laptop bag to my rolling suitcase. For that it works great. I tried using it as in the picture above to keep checked baggage closed. You cut it off to go in your pocket. Not cool. So be aware, since it's not very easy to get out, the TSA can turn it off. Otherwise 5 stars
