Review on TRICO Exact Fit 19 Inch Conventional Automotive Replacement Wiper Blade - Pack of 1 for Car (19-1) by Juan Huerta

Exact fit doesn't mean exact fit

I have used Trico blades in the past and have had at least average performance from them. I chose it in the hope that it would match my existing OEM blades. All replacement blades must match a correctly installed fitting exactly, but what's the point if it doesn't look exactly like the original blade? It wasn't exactly the same, but close enough for my taste. The problem was that I needed two blades, each a different length. The other exact fit did not match and look like my original blade. For me it defeated the purpose. A side note is that they weren't the exact length of the originals, which wouldn't affect anything, but that seems out of place given the title. Having one blade with a vented look and another with a smooth look was a bigger problem as the blades just didn't look like they belonged to the same vehicle. Instead, I bought a Trico 16-190 NeoForm wiper blade with Teflon. Same if not better. Standard equipment was as close to factory as I needed and installed in seconds. This is also a teflon blade. You should check the prices as they fluctuate, but someone else might be priced close enough to buy that better blade. All they mean by Exact Fit is that the plug is right for your car. This would most likely apply to all of their other blades. But others include alternative connectors in case the replacement doesn't fit. Replacing the plug is a bit of a hassle, and I imagine anyone having trouble with that will probably ask for help changing blades anyway.
