My Honda lawnmower started to run badly after 4 years. If he struggled for a while, he decided to look for a problem. I removed the carburetor assembly (including the choke machine). There was this thermo-wax thing in the cavity of the engine and the pin was freezing, sticking out. The pin should go in and out (but on a cold engine). It was easy to take everything off but putting it back on was a bit of a hassle as two screws hold three gaskets, a heat shield, a carburetor and an air filter housing. I bet the engineer who designed this is still laughing at the people who bought the Honda. In any case, I had to attach the fuel and air hoses and then assemble everything individually. After aligning the final gasket, connect the assembly to the engine's fuel inlet. (Don't forget to put the new thermal wax in the motor before doing anything else). The mower now starts every time on the 2nd or 3rd turn.
