Review on πŸš— Husky Liners Weatherbeater Front & 2nd Seat Floor Mats for 2017-19 Mazda CX-5: Ultimate Protection for All-Weather Driving by Jeremy Flint

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good fit but requires extra effort to install in cold weather

These are the first molded plastic floor mats I tried. They're a little thinner than I expected, but I don't think there's a reason they should be thicker. Given the strength of the material, I don't expect any durability issues. They came in a box big enough for the front mats. This meant that the one-piece rear seat mat was folded in half in the box. The front mats also warped because the box was standing on end. They would never match as they were taken out of the box at a temperature of around 40 and the material was quite stiff. I used a heat gun to gently heat the plastic before attaching it to the car and that solved all the problems. I was also able to warm up any areas with a small gap at the edges and fit them more closely to the carpet in the car. Overall I am satisfied with these rugs. Installation took a little longer than expected as I had to find my heat gun and take my time getting it back into shape. I might try a more expensive brand in the future to immediately compare materials and installation.
