Comparing the torque from them to my torque wrench shows them to be fairly accurate, but it's hard to say as checking an already tightened eyelet or bolt with a torque wrench is an inaccurate method. Overall I'd say it's a good investment if you make a lot of tires. hp If you are unfamiliar with these types of instruments, there are a few things you need to know. At first, don't tighten all the studs at once, but make a star pattern by gradually increasing the torque as if you were doing it with a broken bar/hoop iron. Second, they will not function ineffectively. If you use them with a jackhammer, you'll over-tighten the grommets and eventually break the tool.
