They're just not bright enough to see at night.
Says 30,000 lumens, but it's closer to 3,000 lumens. At night, on a dark country road, you have to have high beams on to see anything. If I didn't have stock halogen fog lights, I wouldn't be able to see the road at all. I drive a 2018 SUV with factory headlights.
